McKayla Holland, Editor-in-Chief
Hello! My name is McKayla Holland, I’m a senior, and I’m the Editor-in-Chief and President of The Mirror. I am a 3 year staffer, and a 2 year editor. I enjoy writing Academics & Organizations stories, as well as Sports stories. I like listening to K-Pop and collecting albums. I love Chipotle and Starbucks. I am heavily involved in our school: I am the Publicist of NHS, the Secretary of Orchestra, the Treasurer of SAVE Promise Club, a 4 year member of the Anchor Club, a 3 year member of Sources of Strength, a Model UN competitor, and a 4 year member of the UIL Academics team. I am a 2 year member of the Varsity Orchestra, and a member of the 2025 All-Region Orchestra. I have placed 5th at the UIL Academics State Championships for News Writing, and I am a member of the 2025 All-State Journalism Staff. I plan on attending Lamar University in the fall and majoring in chemical engineering.
