McKayla Holland, Copy Editor
McKayla is the Copy Editor and Vice President for The Mirror, and is currently a Junior. She is the 2x District 4A-17 Headline Writing Champion, as well as a District News Writing Champion, and a Region Qualifier in Headline Writing, News Writing, and Feature Writing for UIL Academics. She is the Junior Vice President of the Orchestra program, where she plays viola in the Camarata Orchestra. She is also involved in Sources of Strength, Science Club, Prom Committee, and Anchor Club. She currently serves as Grand Religion to the Grand Assembly of Texas, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, and is heavily involved with her home Assembly, Kilgore #168. She is interested in all things Chernobyl, nuclear accidents, and criticality accidents. She wants to attend the University of Texas at Austin (Hook’ Em!), major in Nuclear Engineering, and become a nuclear engineer.
