Hello! My name is Makenzie Marshall, and I am a junior at Kilgore High School. I have attended Kilgore since the third grade, and I love the community. This is my first year on the Kilgore Newspaper staff, and I’m very excited to be exploring this pathway and getting to know more people outside of my friend group!
A little bit about me is that I absolutely love books and my favorite genre is mystery. On top of that, I also do UIL. The events that I do are Current Events and Social Studies during the school year, and this is probably my favorite part of the year. I also adore anything that has to do with Winter! I decided to get into Newspaper so I could be more informed about what is going on in our school and much more. I’m excited to be on staff and write for the school newspaper this year.
