Breleigh Warlick, Photography Editor
Breleigh Warlick is the Photography Editor and Vice President of the KHS Mirror Newspaper. This is her third and final year working on the newspaper staff. When she first started journalism, Breleigh had no idea how to give voice to her own thoughts, let alone ask others about theirs, but over the years, she’s bloomed into a vibrant, joyful, and outgoing person (although there are still moments when she needs to sit in the quiet). She loves writing and editing for the paper, but she is also highly involved in many other organizations at our school, including The Boomtown Players Theater Department, Academic UIL, National Honors Society, and Sources of Strength. She is also very involved in her church, where she sings during worship nights on Wednesdays and occasionally works with the worship team on Sundays. She is passionate about her faith in God and strives to love other people the way that He loves us. When she’s not super busy with at least one of her self-inflicted duties (which she usually is), you’ll most likely find her either cozied up reading in bed, or hanging out with her fellow staffer and best friend, Lona. Once she’s out of high school, Breleigh plans to pursue either theatre, psychology, or both if she can help it. She is a multi-passioned person who cannot force herself to choose between the two, and she trusts that the Lord will lead her where she needs to go. She also hopes to travel often and live her life to the fullest.
