The Prom Committee has began their annual poinsettia fundraiser to raise money for this year’s prom.

This poinsettia fundraiser is a tradition in the community and different members of the community purchase these plants each year to contribute towards the cost of prom.

The fundraiser will last till Nov. 8, and forms to purchase the poinsettias can be picked up from any Prom Committee member.

The plants will be delivered by the members on Dec. 8. Each poinsettia will be on sale for $12, and all proceeds will go directly towards prom funds.

“This fundraiser is important to raise money for prom, to make it look the best it can be,” Prom Committee President Sydney Bates said. “It allows us to purchase props.”
