The 2022 Homecoming Court following the crowning of Homecoming Queen Danna Requena.

On Friday, September 16th, senior Danna Requena was crowned the 2022 homecoming queen.

All throughout the week, KHS has been celebrating homecoming with everything from dress up days to a homecoming dance. The crowning of the homecoming queen is done annually and is something several students remember for years to come.

Every year at the start of homecoming, several clubs and organizations choose a duchess to represent their organization. Students then choose ten of those duchesses to represent KHS as homecoming princesses. From there, students vote on one of those princesses to be crowned homecoming queen.

All duchesses and princesses get to ride in the homecoming parade that takes place downtown.. Following the parade, the princesses are featured at the homecoming football game where the homecoming queen is then announced.
