Decorated Hispanic Heritage Month table in the Library

During Hispanic Heritage Month, we celebrate the different cultures and histories of the Latin and Hispanic communities.  All of their ancestors have either come from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. As we are approaching Hispanic Heritage Month; September 15 to October 15, Mr. Lebron has different activities planned out for the week, for his Spanish 2 classes.

The first activity being pamphlets, talking about the different countries and the difference between Latinos and Hispanics. Mr.Lebron will end the week off by having his class watch In the Heights, which is about the different lives in a Latino Community in Washington Heights.
