Kilgore FFA holds their annual fundraiser

The Kilgore FFA held their annual holiday fundraiser throughout the month of October. This year the fundraiser has improved their payment methods and customers were able to pay online through the student’s account.
“This really helps improve our sale rates this year,” Ag teacher Emily Brown said. “This method is more convenient to our customers.”
Every FFA member had to sell at least five items in order to get their FFA shirts. Fortunately, these members were able to exceed that limit. There were many students that sold over 30 items for this fundraiser.
“I believe these fundraiser teaches responsibility because students have to handle money and keep up with all of the orders,” senior Hannah Kerr said.
This upcoming Monday, the FFA members will be picking up their orders and delivering them out to those who contributed to this fundraiser.
