On Oct. 19 Varsity tennis won Area against Pleasant Grove with a score of 10-4.

“I am very excited having won Area, but our job is not done yet,” senior David Chavarria. “We have a lot of odds running against us playing a stronger and more favorable team in the regional quarterfinals.”

The team plays Wills Point in regional quarter finals tomorrow Oct.24 in Van.

“I really want our team to win tomorrow because we have worked really hard,” senior Pooja Patel said.

If they win in the regional quarter finals, the tennis team will advance unto the regional tournament.

“As it is my last year, each day is a day for improvement and going to the regional tournament will give me the extra push to work harder,” Chavarria said.
