As the final bell rings and the school year comes to a close, students across the district are reflecting on a year filled with growth, challenges, and memorable moments. From the first day of class to the last final exam, this year has been one of both personal and academic milestones for many.
“6 out of ten,” freshman Camila Venezuela said. “Because my classes are getting harder. My favorite memory is going to the State Football game in Arlington.”
Football games aren’t the only thing that students enjoy.
“6, just because it’s taking too long,” senior Parker Philips said. “My favorite memory this year is when Johnny got into a car wreck.”
As the summer looms ahead, students are already looking forward to their next chapter—whether it’s a new grade, a new school, or the next big adventure in life. But before that, they’ll cherish the memories of this school year: the laughter, the lessons, and the friendships that will last long after the final report card is handed out.
“So far, I’ve rated it an eight,” freshman Jacob Herrera said. “Why is it an eight out of ten because I mean, it’s been chill so far. Going to football games, like the State Football game, because it was pretty fun. Even though we lost, I got to be for the first time at AT&T Stadium. I enjoyed going to the soccer games because I got to play in them.”
