Who doesn’t love the thrill of a good haunted house? The way your heart is racing while you walk through the scary rooms. Between clowns, zombies, and scary creatures you will be sure to leave feeling relieved that it is over. There are over 1,000 haunted houses across the country ranging from very scary to not that frightening. Going with your friends is the best part of the experience because of the fun emotions you go through together. 

“I love the heart-beating pressure right before you go in the haunted house,” junior Caden Loomis said.

Even though your mind is only focused on one thing, when you walk through the haunted house you have to agree that their makeup looks so realistic and terrifying. All of the decorations and props that they use in a haunted house makes it 10 times better.  

“My favorite thing about going to haunted houses is seeing all the crazy and creepy decorations. I also love to see all the scary costumes and makeup.” senior Thaiona Moore said

There can be some embarrassing or just really funny things that can happen when you’re running around at a haunted house. That can go along with making good memories looking back and even though it was embarrassing at the moment you will be laughing at it in the future.

“The chainsaw guy was chasing me and my friend and we all tripped over this tree stump,” freshman Brooklyn Vercher said.

So if you are looking for some things to do this Halloween make sure you put haunted houses on your bucket list, but just be sure that you are prepared to go through all scarce and haunt actors .
