New officers were elected for this year’s Future Hispanic Leaders of America (FHLA) club. The officers are as followed: senior Angie Chirino (president), senior Lesliee Del Angel (vice president), junior Perla Vasquez (secretary), and senior Aaliyah Gauna (treasurer).

“We have nothing but good vibes this year,” said junior Perla Vasquez.

The clubs first event, was to help out with SAFFE Day which was attended Saturday Sept.16. The club helped in assisting children participating in games.

“I have very high hopes for this year and I hope our club makes as much, if not a bigger, difference for our community,” Chirino said.
