Seniors Ethan Drury and Thomas Hattaway have been chosen by The Texas High School Coaches Association and the Texas Army National Guard to be named the 2022 THSCA Academic All-State Basketball Team.
“I felt very blessed to receive this award!” Hattaway said. “I’m glad all of my hard work has paid off.”
The seniors were precisely selected due to a combination of their class rank, GPA, ACT/SAT scores, and participation in class and school. Drury made the first team and Hattaway made the second team.
“I am very happy to have received the award,” Drury said. “ It means a lot to me because it shows that all of the hard work that I have put in over the years has paid off.”
