Art Club meets in Mrs. Harper’s room.

The Art Club met this Thursday in Mrs. Harper’s room to discuss Fall Festival, future fundraisers, ARTS Day at Kilgore College, and other upcoming events.

Junior Daniel Ponce is president of the Art Club. He is very eager for the Art Club’s involvement in the school year and its events. The Fall Festival is quickly approaching. The club believes that student involvement in this event is very important.

“For the fall festival we will be having face painting booths,” Ponce said. “ It would be great if people got involved by asking to get their faces painted.”

The club also discussed their plans for upcoming fundraisers.

“We have fundraisers twice a year where we sell muffins,” Ponce said. “The money from the fundraisers helps us fund trips and buy paint and art supplies which we need. It also helps us on ARTS day, Fall Festival, etc.”
