Attention Seniors
Up to date
Senior year is going by in a flash, but are you caught up?
FAFSA, Free Application for Federal Student Aid, was officially opened on October 1. Brenda Thomas, from the Financial Aid office at LeTourneau University has been helping people fill out the application here at KHS the week of October 19-23.
Senior year is very important. Even though it can get stressful, it is important to not let seniorities get to you.
Seniors should make sure they have all their testing done. They must pass the TSI and have ACT and SAT scores. If you haven’t already, make sure to sign up and take these tests.
If you took your senior pictures and paid the $10 for proofs you will receive them in your mail or personal email. Make sure you pick a pose for the school yearbook by December 11, you can also order your own package of pictures if you’d like. Also, do not forget Baby Ads are due Thursday, Nov. 19.
Finally, scholarships are coming in, make sure to check your school email and run by the counselors office and check out what they have so far. But most importantly, keep up with your grades and attendance. Senior year DOES matter, keep working hard.
If you have any questions or concerts, or if you need any help with any senior stuff, do not hesitate to go by and talk to one of the counselors. They are always willing to help.
