After losing its 13 year sponsor, Julie Haufler, FHLA is back. This year Jody Brown will be the sponsor of the Future Hispanic Leaders of America club. 

“I am excited to be a part of something that has a good reputation not only in the school but in the community as well,” Mr. Brown said. “I love how this organization has built leaders from serving others.”

In relation to that, his biggest goal for this year is to encourage students to continue serving others after they graduate.

“ I believe God has created us to love and serve other people, so my goal is to encourage upcoming graduates to continue to serve others as they continue to grow.”

FHLA will be having their first meeting on Friday, September 25,  at 7:30 a.m.  in the auditorium. However, the deadline to join the club and turn in all dues is set for Friday, October 2; no later than 3:30 p.m..
