KISD is holding a College and Career Fair on March 2 in the cafeteria and new gym. From 5:30 to 6:00 is the 8th-grade parents’ only meeting. 6:00 to 7:00 is the Student Showcase, where 8th-grade students can see an overview of the high school. From 6:00 to 8:00 is the College and Career Fair with breakout sessions. Anyone from any school can come to the College and Career Fair portion of the night.

The purpose of this event is to help engage, educate and equip parents to become leaders and advocates for their child’s learning.

The breakout sessions will provide information to help parents prepare their children for their future careers. The College and Career Fair gives parents as well as students the chance to see colleges, businesses and other opportunities available.
