The boys’ soccer team played Waskom on Friday, March 23.

The Dogs came out with a big win, securing first place in district and making them Champions of their division. The Dogs won 5-0 against Waskom.

“We had a great season this year, and I can’t wait to see what happens during playoffs,” junior Brandyn Hinojos said.

The Dogs play Pine Tree on Monday, March 26 for a warm-up game before playoffs to get them used to the competition.

“We have came a long way this season from losing 8 players for fighting or because they just didn’t want to play any more to winning district champs, and I couldn’t be happier than to do it with this team,” senior Jonathan Hinojos said. “I don’t know what I would do without y’all.”
