On September 30, the Hi-Steppers held their annual Hi-Steppers Mini Camp, which included a total of 95 partcipants.

“It was an amazing experience as always,” senior Kara Mckinnon said. “The kids were hard workers and we all had a blast working together on our dancing skills.”

The mini camp not only meant something for the children that attended, but also for the high steppers.

“I got to relive what it was like coming to the camp as a kid,” sophomore Chloe Whipple said. “My favorite part was kicking across the floor.”

The Hi-Steppers worked with the kids who attended on the basics of dance and their victory line routine.

“I hope to instill the children with the love of dance but most importantly that they have fun with the Hi-Steppers,” junior Lanie Long said.
