Varsity football plays Center, comes up short

On Nov. 3 the varsity football team played Center.

The Dogs were winning 28-13 in the first quarter. The RoughRiders then came back in the fourth quarter to win the game 35-49.

“This week we are going to practice hard and bounce back from last week’s loss,” senior Coby Slayter said.

The Dogs lost and were getting ready to play Bullard to get a guaranteed a spot in the playoffs.

“This week we are focused on Bullard and we are practicing our butts off to get a spot in the playoffs,” senior Patrick “Buddy” Jackson said.

The Dogs will play Bullard at R.E Saint John Memorial Stadium on Nov. 10, and the game is a must-watch.
