Senior Angie Chirino is a four year participant of the FHLA club and serves as president. 

“Being president means a lot to me because I’ve been in FHLA since my freshman year and I’m glad I get to take on the the responsibilities of the president,” senior Angie Chirino said.

Chirino felt even more appreciated by her club sponsor and fellow classmates when she was voted to be the FHLA Homecoming duchess.

“I’m glad I got voted to be FHLA duchess because I think it’ll be another fun experience to add to my senior year,” Chirino said.

Being voted for duchess is a big honor for Chirino.

“I’m very nervous because I’ve never done anything in front of so many people before, but I’m excited for the same reason,” Chirino said. “I’m excited to see how I’ll handle myself when I get out on that field.”
