Q:What made you want to be a teacher?
A: I always played teacher with my siblings growing up. I was fascinated with being an elementary PE teacher. I want to make a difference in students’ lives.
Q: Where did you go to school? What were you like as a student?
A: I went to Tatum High School. I was quiet in school. I was a rule follower and was scared to get in trouble.
Q: What’s your spirit animal?
A: A koala bear.
Q: What was your favorite extracurricular activity you were involved in during high school?
A: Cheer.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A:Working out and watching movies.
Q: Why did you decide to come to Kilgore?
A: My husband was offered a job in Kilgore and my kids went to Kilgore schools. I wanted to work where my kids went to school.
Q: Who’s the most influential person in your life?
A: My parents.
Q: What’s your favorite part about teaching?
A: Seeing how kids can turn their lives around.
Q: What’s the first thing you do in the morning?
A: Workout.

A: Patient, hard-worker, kind, strict
