Q: What made you want to be a teacher?
A: My dad was a teacher growing up.
Q: What were you like as a student?
A: I would say I was focused. High school was fun, but I always had a purpose in what I was doing.
Q: What’s your spirit animal?
A: I’m a lion, but I can become a fox.
Q: What were your favorite extracurricular activities you were involved in high school?
A: Volleyball and track.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: I love anything sport related. If it’s sport related then I’m in it.
Q: Why did you decide to come to Kilgore?
A: After coaching a couple of the girls in club volleyball, just their spirit and work ethic… it was kind of an easy choice.
Q: Who’s the most influential person in your life?
A: One of my mentors is Faye Whitlow.
Q: What’s your favorite part about teaching?
A: The influence and the impact that I can have in a students life.
Q: What’s the first thing you do in the morning?
A: Pray. I say a quick prayer and get ready for the day.

A: Inspirational, motivational, purposeful, humble.
