Q: What made you want to be a teacher?

A: The idea of student success and the future of healthcare. 

Q: Where did you go to school? What were you like as a student?

A: I went to Sam Houston State University, I was very outgoing.

Q: What’s your spirit animal?

A: A parrot. They’re very colorful, outgoing, and adventurous.

Q: What was your favorite extracurricular activity you were involved in during High School? 

A: Band, I was the Drum Major. Band is all about being a team and working together.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: Watching Netflix and traveling. 

Q: Why did you decide to come to Kilgore?

A: I went to school here. I graduated in 2007.

Q: Who’s the most influential person in your life and why? 

A: Most of my teachers, they’re the reason I came back to teaching.

Q: What’s your favorite part about teaching?

A: Interacting with my students. 

Q: What’s the first thing you do in the mornings? 

A: Stretch to get the blood flowing.

Q: Describe yourself in four words.

A: Outgoing, energetic, friendly, optimistic.
