Q: What made you want to be a coach?

A: My Family and my childhood. My dad, grandpa and uncle were a coach. Through watching them impact young people, I wanted to do the same thing with my life.

Q:Where did you go to school? What were you like as a student?

A: I went to Cuero High School and Henderson State. I always wanted to be perfect at everything I did.

Q: What’s your spirit animal?

A: A lion.

Q: What was your favorite extracurricular activity you were involved in during high school?

A: FCA, baseball, track.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: Hunting and fishing.

Q: Why did you decide to come to Kilgore?

A: The winning tradition that everyone wants to be a part of. I want to make an impact in the community both on and off the field.

Q: Who’s the most influential person in your life?

A: Jesus Christ.

Q: What’s your favorite part about coaching?

A: The relationships built between players and being able to serve them in every aspect of life.

Q: What’s the first thing you do in the morning?

A: Brush my teeth.

Q: Describe yourself in four words. 

A: Passionate, competitive, kind-hearted, tough.
