Q: What made you want to work with students? 

A: I wanted to be able to be a part of the school district and get involved at KHS because it is where my kids are going to school.

Q: Where did you go to school? What were you like as a student?

A: KHS. I loved being here and everything about it. I was also a really good student. Ask Mr. Taylor, he’ll tell you all about it.

Q: What’s your spirit animal?

A: A deer. I am calm but family oriented.

Q: What was your favorite extracurricular activity you were involved in during high school?

A: I was an AG girl. I was FFA president. I was also in Student Council, which I also loved.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: Keeping my kids alive and going to the grocery store. I like to read and restore furniture when I have time.

Q: Why did you decide to come to Kilgore?

A: I’ve lived here my whole life.

Q: Who’s the most influential person in your life?

A: My mom. She raised me as a single mom on a teachers salary. She’s the strongest and most Godly person I know.

Q: What’s your favorite part of being around students?

A: Getting to know them and helping them when they need it. I like to be a person they can depend on.

Q: What’s the first thing you do in the morning?

A: Take the dog outside.

Q: Describe yourself in four words

A: Christian, mom, friendly, loyal.
