Q: What made you want to become a Librarian?

A: When I was at Kilgore College I wanted to help students find what they needed in the library.

Q: Where did you go to school? What were you like as a student?

A: Kilgore High School. I was an average student. I wasn’t the best student, but I knew I was going to college.

Q: What is your spirit animal?

A: An owl.

Q: What was your favorite extracurricular activity you were involved in during high school?

A: Pep Squad.

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: Hunting, gardening, and working with copper wire.

Q: Why did you decide to come to Kilgore?

A: I wanted to come back home.

Q: Who’s the most influential person in your life?

A: My father.

Q: What’s your favorite part about your job?

A: The people. Working with the students, and the adults.

Q: What’s the first thing you do in the morning?

A: Copy information from Facebook from groups and email it to myself.

Q: Describe yourself in four words?

A: Encouraging, investigator, learner, and sharer.
