Soccer is finally in season and the boys are more than ready. On January 10-12, both, JV and Varsity, played in the Palestine tournament. This week, they have been competing in the Terrell tournament since Thursday, January 17. With two wins against Red Oak and Ferris with the scores of 1-0 and 2-0. On January 18 the varsity boys continued to play at 4p.m. against Mesquite with a total score of 8-2 and on Saturday, the final day of the tournament the games were cancelled due to the fields being too wet. Next week on Thursday, January 24 the JV boys team will compete in the JR Muddog Tournament at Pinetree and the final day of the JR Muddog Tourney will be on that Saturday January 26. Also, both teams will play against Hallsville on Friday, January 25 at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m at the Bobcat Stadium in Hallsville. Come out and support both teams. Go Dogs!
