Boys soccer takes on Henderson
On February 13, the boys soccer team traveled to Henderson to face off in a rivalry match against the Lions.
Slow start for the dogs, but the pace started to pick up when junior Raul Cedillo scored off a corner kick in the 32nd minute.
“It’s always a good game against Henderson because the fans really determine how the game will turn out.”
After halftime the Lions came ready to fight, taking 5 shots back to back. Kilgore reclaimed dominance after sophomore Efrian Mojica scored his first goal of the season in the 63rd minute of the game.
“For my first time playing against Henderson I never imagined how intense it would be.”
The game ended 3-0 in Kilgore’s favor. The team’s record is now 11-6-2 on the season, and hopes to keep adding to their success.
