Winning through the rain

The varsity girls had a game against Tatum on Jan. 6 but sadly the game got rained out. They rescheduled the game for Jan. 7 and ended up  winning with the final score of 7-0.

Sadly the junior varsity game was canceled on both days but they still enjoyed watching their teammates play their hardest out on the field.

“We had a rough start but when we started working together and using each other we got the job done with a 7-0 victory,” junior Rylie Mann said

The girls were disappointed that the game got rained out and cancelled but they knew it wouldn’t change the results of the game in the end.

“We don’t let anything hold us back! The rain was just a minor setback but it didn’t phase us any. We played our hardest out on the field and as a team we won,” sophomore Sarah Loomis said.

The girls next game will be on February 9th  away against Gladewater at 5.
