Girls Basketball dribbling up to first
The girls basketball team huddle with their coaches for the encouraging pre-game pep talk.
The girls basketball team went to Gladewater to play in a tournament on Jan. 9.
“Playing Gladewater was nothing but an easy win,” junior Ja’Neece Mumphrey said.
Throughout the entire game the girls maintained the lead and came out with a score of 47-35.
“We maintained the lead throughout the entire game, giving them no room to come back,” junior Shelby Thompson said.
They scored their win in their second district game.
“With our second district win we hope to go on to the playoffs,” senior D’Shira Rossum said.
